Shake it like a polaroid picture!
Halloween was a success. David dressed up like a dude in a shower, Brandon was a reservoir dog, Nicole was Audrey Hepburn, and I of course was a dirty skank. We went to a few parties.....but me being the old lady I am was in bed by 1:30.
I registered for classes too and got everything I wanted. This spring I'm taking:
* Psych of Marital Adjustment
* Psych of Death & Dying
* Neuropsychopharm.
*Quantitative Methods
* Abnormal Child Psych
It will either be really fun & interesting, or really hard and tedious. As for everything else like finding out when to take the GRE's, or even finalizing my degree plan....that's a big question mark. I keep telling myself that the best life decisions I've made for myself, I've made on the spur of the moment...gone with instinct. I hope it all works out. I really want an internship this summer, so.....we'll see.
Speaking of work, it's been crazy fun lately. I know....Sarah like work? Not possible!! Granted I'm always grumpy having to always wear a "tailored professional jacket" and pantyhose and "sensible shoes" , but the people I work with make up for it. Weekdays we don't have many customers so I just talk to Nicole and Latasha who go to UNT also....or MaryJane or Chuck the security guard/off-duty cop. ( Who, asked me to go have a beer with him....even though he's married and is probably in his 50s.) Old people are crazy. MaryJane told us that she flashed her husband on halloween and he thought it was the neighbor, and Chuck told me I hadn't lived til I had smoked pot and lots of it. Weirdest conversation I'd had with a cop ever. Fun nonetheless.
I've decided to get back in the habit of going to church. I never had a close relationship with, or even a strong understanding of God...even though I was dragged to church from the time I was small til highschool. I know that an hour every sunday won't change this but it's a start. It's just something I feel I should do, and afterall....when I drag my kids to church one day, I want to have a good reason. Hehe, just kidding.
I can't believe it's mid-November. I can taste the turkey and pumpkin pie now......mmmm
